I have misplaced my pants.
Isn't arguing the SEC's national pastime?
I think Ohio State had better-than-expected protection from their offensive line in the Big Ten Championship Game. Cardale Jones looked like JT Barrett's stronger, bigger clone. But I don't know that that happens without that protection. I know that Alabama is supposed to be the best team since the 1985 Chicago Bears, but what do we expect from their defensive line?

They're very strong on both.
They're exactly like us based on recruiting, except without the B1G's restrictions on oversigning, standards for academic eligibility, and "performance enhancing drug" stipulation for ecstasy.

Both. The defensive line is Bama's strongest and most deep unit on the team. They do however play a bit more cautiously I dare say then some defenses you have faced. Bama isn't going to just pin their ears back and attack the QB. They will aim to take away the run and screens first and constrict around the QB while still controlling the gaps and staying in their place to negate QB scrambles. So they want to pressure the QB but do it in a smart way since overzealous aggressive defenses can often be taken advantage by smart OC schemes. The goal is not to get tons of sacks but force the QB to get rid of the ball fairly quickly, off balance feeling the pressure and pocket collapse, and into tight coverage. In the past when we have had shut down corners we could blitz very creatively but that's not as prevalent with this team since CB is a weak point.

White is a solid WR2 next to Coop. After that there is a gap in performance. Christion Jones, our kick returner, is now a SR and has played every year but still is only a role player good for 1-3 receptions a game. Ardarius Stewart came on late and was starting to get some playing time and looked really good with the ball in his hands after the catch but got knicked up and hasn't played last 2 games. Chris Black hasn't lived up to hype yet. Big 5 star WR Robert Foster hasn't played much yet. Tight end OJ Howard at 6'6 240 is a match up nightmare...if this was EA Sports football, but he hasn't learned to use his big body and run routes well enough to truly dominate yet at his position. He is good for 2 receptions a game usually one important one getting a first down. What makes Coop so good is the precision of his routes, the fact that he gives no tells coming off the line and is also very tough to jam.

Yep, please understand the inevitable blowback and disintegration of conversation when trolls stop by (some were even trolling other bama fans
). When they settle down (or are dismissed), the adults can get back to talking.Many people have listed strengths of bama that will be a large challenge for OSU yet they did not catch flak. You can list them as advantages or reasons that Alabama will win, we just require that you back up your statements with sound reasoning (and we'll naturally disagree with the merits of some of that).

What are the rumblings about Robert Foster behind the scenes? Have there been any bumps along the way or has he grown up a bit? That kid had big time talent but almost everyone in the midwest backed away from him due to some character/maturity concerns.
Keep in mind that our new starting QB is famous for tweeting that he didn't come to OSU to play school (which frankly is the case almost anywhere, but they learn to respect their second major behind football). These boys grow up sometimes :)

Yea he tends to bitch a lot and therefore isn't getting the playing time he desires. He will either conform to Saban's standards or transfer to WVU.

Can we please treat our guests with respect? Some of the comments to them make "us" look like just what we are calling them. Give these guys a chance. For the most part they seem fine so far and I hate to see people driven off by ignorant comments. Some of us enjoy interacting with different fan bases and getting their perspective.
