No not really.

Indiana beating Missouri and Wisconsin going toe to toe with LSU are used to try, often unsuccessfully, to try and show SEC fans that B1G schools can somehow take the field with SEC schools and not be down 100-0 by the end of the first quarter.

In fact sometimes they can even win which is odd given how often the media tells everyone any team in the SEC is better than the best teams in the B1G.

The selection committee should have never put TCU up that high. They should have to answer for that and how far they dropped them. I do think they may have been a better team but spreading your games out an extra week and adding a bye instead of playing in a championship should get you dropped. Not to mention they smoked a 2 win team to try and look good.

And they looked like shit against Kansas late in the year. I'm still pissed WVU's coach handed them a win.

Bothers me when SEC fans like to completely change the script when they've been sticking by it for so long? Yeah. Then again the SEC itself isn't big on playing by the rules so I shouldn't be surprised. 14 eh? How many of the 14 actually count? :)

Is Bama's defense really that bad? Is their offense really that good? Is OSU's offense and defense really that good?

If Auburn wins 49-0, it makes OSU not look as good. If Wiscy kills them, Bama fans will be scared.
