Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

Fuck let Bama talk to the B1G coaches... does anyone have an answer for Urban and how to stop our offense? The one guy who has only slowed us down is now at Pitt and even then great job this yeargiving up 49.

Please listen to these coaches Bama it'll get you 50 points hung on you with how theve been so good at shutting us down.

That's like Arnold Schwarzenegger asking me how to get abs (kirby asking bit ten staffs tips on us)

I get being fired up about the game, but come on now.

It's Meyer's system, now in Columbus instead of Gainesville.

I agree. These guys know each other. There will probably be a couple things thrown in that aren't on film.

Put your guys in a position to succeed and then it will boil down to the players beating the guy in front of them.

The talking heads say Alabama has more depth on the defensive line than any former Ala team coached by Saban. I will be surprised if tOSU can establish an effective running game against the Crimson Tide. I think Cardale Jones will have to beat the Tide with his arm.

Same system, different personnel. Sure, it's a similar basic offensive philosophy to what he's had in the past, but like most coaches Meyer adjusts his system depending on his personnel. And while I wouldn't expect it to be very impactful, it's conceivable that some BigTen coaches could give some insight on the current iteration of Meyer's system/personnel package.

Didn't Auburn run for 200 plus? Saying the tOSU can't establish an effective running game, or even being shocked by the possibility is quite the reach.

It's not the same system at all. It has some similar elements but Tebow's offense is different than Miller's and they've tweaked it for Cardale and JT respectively.

I basically agree with that. The "same system, different personnel" comment was a lead-in to the point that Meyer's offensive schemes and most frequently run plays, like most coaches', differ considerably depending on the current personnel.
