Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

Very interesting quotes coming out today:

"They have more wideouts, depth-wise," Smart said. "The top ones at Auburn are really good and the top ones at Ohio State are really good. I just think they are deeper at Ohio State at wideout. They do a really good job. The fact they can run the ball makes it hard when they throw. It's going to be a tough game. They're going to throw the ball downfield. They watch tape too."

As far as attendance goes, I have a few friends who are trying to find available tickets for dallas "in case we beat OSU". They have no interest in going to a semifinal game bama might lose.

Would be interesting to know which coaches. 8D
I can easily imagine PSU, Wisconsin, and scUM making that call... a piece of me still likes Dantonio and Kill has been a classy guy, so I hope it wasn't them.

I could easily see Franklin, Hoke, and Anderson's salty asses giving out information. I could also see that idiot at Illinois being a douche-taco as well.

You're right. I'm not sure it was good info. I also don't necessarily believe that B1G coaches picked up the phone and called smart or that he called them.

I'm sure they did. Coaches are coaches. They are freaks. I can see most of these big time coaches sitting around in their underwear while eating cheetos and beef jerky and watching film at all hours of the night. They live for this shit. lol

This stuff doesn't bother me. Its just the "coaches fraternity" type thing imo...

The team should be there now:

OSU Buckeyes Football Team Head To New Orleans For Sugar Bowl

The Ohio State University Buckeyes football team is on its way to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.

The team loaded buses at the Woody Hayes facility on Saturday afternoon before making their way to the airport.

Their plane is expected to land at the Louis Armstrong International Airport around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

They start practicing for the game on Sunday.

"The focus has been really good. And now it's a matter of time. We've got one more hard practice and then get them mentally or get them physically ready to go," said Coach Urban Meyer as he prepared to leave Columbus.

Denny's ...The House of Pancakes......I give, what is it.

You never know the connections/coaching trees involved. Even at that, with this much time it isn't anything Saban and Co wouldn't have found. These things happen when you score 50 plus on your opponents.
