We very well may be faster but really is it going to be such a discrepancy that Bama' just won't know what they're dealing with? Not at all, they will be fine and Alabama will probably make a play or two on our guys where we go "Holy [Mark May] I thought our guy was faster than that".
This game, so far to me is the hardest to get a read on. We need to play better defensively than we did against MSU and I see Bama' most comparable to them so it does give me some pause about the game. Our Defensive line has got to dominate because they will not have the help in the box like they did against Wisconsin and as we've shown we are extremely reluctant in putting extra people in the box. The one thing I keep coming back to though is the Bama' Linebackers and how we can really take advantage of them. As the Elevenwarriors article pointed out today about Bama's run defense putting stress on the LB's to read the offense really slows them down and when they already are a little slower than normal (especially 33) it can open some things. Then again if Bama's defensive line is owning our line it won't really matter. Win the trenches you win the game.
