Alabama played Ole Miss, MS, AR, LSU, and Auburn, all ranked teams. And for the record, I think Aub has a better offense than tOSU....but you guys have the better D. I may have to eat my words but I don't see tOSU putting up a lot of points on the no. 4 scoring defense in the country.

Doing the quick math ie subtracting 59 pts. from WI pts. allowed (260) and dividing by 12 = 16.75 pts. per game allowed. So the week before WI played Ohio State, WI would have been right behind Alabama in pts. allowed per game.

And even after the OSU game WI is still tied for 3rd in Total Yardage allowed. "Bama's red zone defense better show up indeed, as the Buckeyes could have scored another 7 if not for a dropped td pass to Elliott and a missed FG. I still give a slight edge to Alabama 'cause of big game experience and Saban's track record lately, although both qb's have the same championship game experience (1) and Meyer is not too shabby in championship games either.

And "we'll" have to wait until the game is over re: eating words! :urban2:

I think Auburn is the best offense we have played all season and their leading rusher, C Artis-Payne ran 25 times for 77 yards that's 3.1 yards per carry. As far as talent, I would rate he and Ezell, even. Aub's QB, Nick Marshall, is known to be a great runner and an average passer, he ran 13 times for 49 yards at 3.8 yards per carry. However, Aub lit us up throwing the ball deep. In summation, C. Jones is going to have to beat us with his arm, in my humble opinion.

You cannot make up your own stats....WI gave up 59 points. Which tells to me that they are over rated. Damn, I wish we were playing them in the playoffs. WI will lose their bowl game and you can write it down. If you take away the points that Aub scored on us, our stats look more nasty too.

I'll still go with my 55-45 guess in favor of bama. Looks like it will be 50-50 for both states, which will probably make up approximately 60% of the stadium (26k tickets directly to osu and bama fans, plus 40% of secondary tickets directly to the hone states makes up 60%). So the remaining 40% will mostly be other southern states for the most part. That will probably move it from 50-50 to 55-45. Because I'll guess that last 40% will be 15% osu 25% bama.
