According to Urban's Aug 31st Q&A, they would make the decision on Sept 2 - so presumably they've known for a couple days now.
That said, at this point I expect both to get a lot of snaps -- that's probably the ideal situation if it works, but also the most risk (getting in rhythm etc.)

In the ultimate ruse, brilliant football strategy, snow job or sign of respect.... whether it's for a play, a series, a quarter or til he breaks down... I think Braxton Miller will start at quarterback against Virginia Tech. If I'm wrong at least give me credit for thinking outside the box (and waiting til the 11th hour to post this so as not to give VT ideas... lol)

I agree. I think they will give Braxton a symbolic start and them move him to the H-Back after the first play.

Not sure if I've said it here, but I've been saying for quite some time that Braxton will get the first snap at QB.

Cardale does some things that are simply unbelievable (TD off the back foot while being tackled... sideline jump pass to Dixon) but i still think the offense moves better with JT. Some of it may've been first game issues but it seems like each play is a one-off (admittedly, several were one for a TD and then off the field) with Jones. I don't see the continuity of playcalling/execution with him that I see with JT.
