2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

This is spot on. There's a reason he's about to be run out of SF despite winning over 70% of his games, making a SB, and three straight conference championship game appearances...he's an intolerable asshole.

It matters not. They are so desperate for a coach they'd offer up Mollers wife again if they thought it would help.

This is extremely fitting in my IMO

Thoughts on Jim Mora Jr?
Good coach, not a homerun. Would probably get scUM to where they wanted Hoke to, i.e. 9-10 wins on average, an occasional run at a B1G title. I don't think he's a guy that gets them to "elite" level. He's been in LA for a couple of years with USC decidedly down, and though he has improved UCLA, they don't look poised to make the leap to the next level.

Beav is over on GBW making subtle references to Sean Payton being in play as a "plan b", and they're lapping it up...man, dumbest fanbase in America. :slappy:

He's also saying Harbaugh was in play in 2010, but things fell apart. 100% not true. The man just lies to sell his shit.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Harbaugh could very well leverage scUM for a raise. He's done in SF, but he's still under contract, and having scUM as leverage could help him in getting a better contract with his next employer. Everybody at scUM is conveniently forgetting he is under contract through next year. He's not leaving the NFL. SF will negotiate an extension and trade him before they let him walk for nothing. Some NFL team, be it the Jets, Chicago, Oakland, or Miami will give him GM power in addition to his coaching duties. With his track record, every NFL team with a vacancy will throw buckets of money that scUM cannot match at him. Plus, do you really think a competitive guy like Harbaugh is bailing on the NFL without his Super Bowl Ring after coming so close? After his own brother won one? Come on. No way he passes that up to go back to college and spend his days travelling around the country recruiting 16-18 year old kids.

It's a pipe dream that's being fueled by guys like Webb and Beaver. Besides that, why do scUM fans feel he has some sense of obligation to m*ch*g*n? He's had very public spats with them, and I've never heard him saying anything at all about m*ch*g*n. Ain't happening.

The only way I saw Harbaugh coming here is if he wasn't successful in San Fran. I could have seen him come to Michigan for maybe 4/5 years and then jump back to the NFL Pete Carroll style. If by some miracle he does come to Michigan, he isn't going to stay long IMO. Michigan should still go after him with everything that they have. It's a long shot but you still have to try. This dude will probably be the first candidate for every NFL team looking for a coach next year. He could just make a phone call and say I want to coach your team and be done with it. It's very hard to compete with that. With that said, I still think there are other candidates that could do well here.

Also b/c the 49ers owner is a twerp who was born on 3rd and thinks he hit a triple and is making a terrible mistake by getting rid of him instead of giving him a raise and giving him a bigger say in personnel. He's also being run out of town b/c of that.
