This morning my scUM girlfriend wakes up, walks into the bath with a big grin on her face and tells me "Guess who just hired Bamas OC" my response... "You just hired the puppet, with out the puppet master.... Congrats"

And this was on Wiki earlier, don't know if it's been corrected yet:

People really shouldn't update Wikipedia like that unless it's about TSUN.![]()
Choosing positivity.
To my knowledge, Nussmeier doesn't have an ties to osu, or Ohio in general. I'm actually quite surprised that "Michigan Man" wasn't at the top of the list of hiring credentials. He was QB coach at Sparty though.
Well, they did have two losses to end their season. You know you gotta do some housecleaning after that.
I don't know if it's about housecleaning or not -- but McElwain was the OC that took them to NC games and Nussemeier replaced him from UW in 2012. He wasn't exactly lighting things up under Sarkisian there... so it's kind of a mediocre hire all around to me. Both for 'Bama in 2012 and scUM in 2014. I imagine Saban is looking for somebody on the level of McElwain again.
He's an upgrade for UM in the simple fact he can actually do the drills with the offense and not just roll around the field.
If that's as important as you suggest, shouldn't Mattison and Hoke be replaced as well?
