Losing Butt (heh heh) means another year of pretending Funchess is a TE.

Crippling their WR corps (which also loses Gallon to graduation) and replacing a promising but young TE in Butt with a wideout who blocks terribly.

Other options at TE:

OT ...er TE AJ Williams - who is a blocking TE who is not an effective blocker
HBack / TE Khalid Hill - 6'2" and hasn't played.
Incoming frosh Ian Bunting - Former WR, 1 year of experience at TE, missed tons of time with injury.

cHoke is quickly becoming my favorite UM coach right behind RRod. Watching their boards/fans prepare for a "10 to 11 win season, with minor adjustments" is laughable at best and sad at worst. They can't even begin to understand just how much talent OSU is stockpiling while they're stuck in the mud, settling for mediocrity and laziness at every turn. As soon as PSU is off of it's sanctions, UM will be maybe the fifth best team in the B1G behind OSU, MSU, UW, and PSU. What a bunch of pussies. Fuck Michigan and fuck everything about their sorry, wretched, POS state. And for the record, they won't win more than 8 games next year. Smart money is on another 7-5 dumpster fire of a season.

Redshirt Freshman David Dawson with the early lead to be STARTING LEFT TACKLE? Seems interesting. IIRC, he's supposed to be a great guard, but he's A) playing out of position and B) a redshirt freshman potentially starting at LT. Could be problematic particularly in the pass protection:

With Bryant taking a medical hardship and leaving football because of injury, and Glasgow AND Tulley-Tillman out with injury, it's more of necessity for him to be there.
