2014 SEC Discussion and Division Races

LSU's schedule differs a bit from the norm in that there's only conference games left... but to be fair LSU did play D1AA Sam Houston earlier in the year.
I think his point would probably be made better with Ole Miss, who plays Presbyterian this week (I never even knew there was a school named that)... and whose OOC schedule to date includes such power houses as LA-Lafayette, Memphis, and Boise State.

That's not even trying. And crazy thing is that it's not even as bad as Miss St. who plays UT Martin this week after a grueling OOC schedule of Southern Miss, South Alabama, and Alabama-Birmingham. It's like they're on tour to beat all the directional and affiliate schools across the great state of Alabama.

IMO, LSU deserves some credit for the Wiscy game. Though this "neutral" site bs irks me.

Boise State isn't good, but to be fair, they were probably decent when the game was scheduled...kinda like VT for us. But yeah, by the time the game was played, beating Boise isn't mich of a win.

I despise these neutral site games.
we've now played UNC, TCU, Oregon, and Wiscy in the last few years at neutral sites.

also have upcoming neutral games against Wiscy (Lambeau Field) and Miami (Jerry World).

would have loved to see a home and home with Oregon. And true home games vs Wisconsin.

who gives a shit about Houston and Green Bay?
those games shod have been at Death Valley and Camp Randle.

We do have a true home and home with Texas coming up in a few years though.

most recently the H&H games we've played have Been Zona, Washington, WVU, and Va Tech.

as gas as the late season cupcake, we have done it, but typically schedule a bye week instead. Due to hurricanes, a couple time that late season bye has been a game rescheduled from earlier in year.

gonna be the season opener just like this year in Houston.

Our AD needs to be shitcanned in the worst way.
Dude cries and whines to try and get UF off the yearly schedule despite the fanbase overwhelmingly wanting to keep that game.
Agrees to play the A&M game on Thanksgiving night when in college station without even trying to demand it be on Saturday Night in Baton Rouge years (gonna be fucking Friday at 1:30).
Agrees to neutral site games with Wiscy in their home state, but moving our game to Texas rather than New Orleans.
continues scheduling shitty neutral sites for our good opponents and filling our home slate with fucking New Mexico St type garbage.

what 1AA school are we playing in weeks 9-11?
are we notorious for playing down? absolutely and I hate it.

I was mentioning LSU due to the fact they got hammered by 2 SEC schools, then they beat one good SEC team that is deemed superior and they shoot up in the rankings, not b/c they are playing a patsy in the next few weeks. Sorry, for the confusing post.

Miss and Miss St. were two of the SEC schools I was targeting with that comment, not LSU.
Miss St's non-con schedule is an absolute joke. My point exactly. Free pass b/c the SEC is SO GOOD and the rest of their schedule is SO TOUGH. Whatever.

I have a three month Sirius trial in my new car, so I listened to Feinbaum for the first time ever today. Wow, I'm all in. There were two separate mongoloids who called in and demanded that there be 4 SEC teams in the playoffs. Tennessee fans who call in and chide him for being a bama homer. The best is when he completely gets exasperated not with the content of the calls but with how stupid the people are and how they can't organize their thoughts or differentiate between a statement and a question when he prods them to get to their question.

Now, I don't expect the intellectual candle to burn all that bright on any sports call in show, but holy Joesus is this just a cesspool of broken chromsomes. These people's DNA strands must look like they were drawn on a fucking Etch a Sketch.

i'm guessing it's the same crowd that populated that show when it was sill broadcast from Birmingham.

If so, it sounds like you tuned in on a slow day.
It's always been a cesspool of the most uneducated rednecks you can imagine.

"Paawwwl, I just don't understand how can anyone still be ranked ahead of albama. the bear ain't never coached and no missippi skule. I'll hang up after i ask this one question....roll tide"

Feinbaum is great for pure entertainment. Just wait until you hear Phyllis From Mulga. I generally end up listening to Packer and George (as in Eddie) on the College Sports Station on the drive home though, I can only take so much Feinbaum. BTW, when your trial runs out, just tell them you want to cancel. They will give you a subscription for like $20 for 6 months. I've done it twice now.
