2014 Preseason and Regular Season Polls

I'm surprised. I figured OSU would've fallen further given the loss of Braxton. Being jumped by Sparty and Georgia I can live with.

MSU defeated Jacksonville State?

Jacksonville State is considered one of the top teams in the Football Championship Subdivision, but the Spartans showed no vulnerability to an upset in this one.

Can't say I am happy, but it will look better when we beat them I guess.

Great post. You are now my 18th favorite poster, down from 16th last month.

You suck.
Of course, my favorite of all time was frosted tips excuse for dropping OSU to 9 in the final AP poll of 2010...

"I knew I had to put them behind Wisconsin since Wisconsin won head to head"

Of course.. Ken didn't have a problem putting LSU ahead of Arkansas despite Arkansas having beaten LSU.

And...
he was sleepy, after all.

Though the only poll that matters doesn't come out until Oct. 28, I am pleasantly surprised the pollsters were fair with Michigan State. They didn't punish Sparty too much (dropped 7 spots) for a competitive road loss (final score wasn't indicative of the game) to a top-shelf opponent. #13 is just about right. MSU still has the opportunity to make a gradual climb just like last season.

Baylor ranked #7 is an absolute joke. And why is South Carolina (#23) even ranked?
