This is the type of game that leaves people with poor thoughts about our conference. I mean really wtf thanks Illinois.
We better hope we show up against Alabama and have it be a good game because if it's a blow out and our bowl games go as I expect them to (I don't see a win out there to be honest) we will not get in next year for how poor our conference does this bowl season. I'd say Illinois needs another coaching change but do we really expect them to make a good hire? Hell no, they'd probably hire Brady Hoke and be pumped about it.

And at least the Illinois players didn't look like idiots celebrating and trash talking Louisiana Tech after every play only to end up quitting.

This was a game for Illinois taking and as the John L Smith quote..."the coaches keep screwing it up." Not learning from the first wheel route and changing from a LB to a defensive lineman to cover that route was a great move....

Such a typical BIG bowl performance. Have plenty of opportunities, get momentum, get it all negated with one or two big plays, catch no breaks from the officials, and make just enough utterly bone-headed plays to blow it. Finally, allow the final margin to look like a blowout in a game that you dominated for large portions of the time.
