2014 Bowl Games Open Thread

Watching the Orange Bowl on the SECSECSEC network. I didn't really see any of it live as I was ushering my liver into the new year with a bunch of friends.

This is a fucking slaughter. I knew they won but Ga Tech is completely outclassing the former "#1 team" in the nation. Just more proof how fucking treacherous and dishonest espn has been since this unholy alliance with the SECSECSEC.

The Pacific-12 compiled the best record in the 2014-2015 bowl and playoff season, but the Big Ten finished with the best mark against ranked opponents in postseason play.

The final bowl and playoff standings show the Pac-12 at the top among the power five conferences with a 6-3 record overall, followed by the SEC at 7-5, the Big Ten at 6-5, the ACC at 4-7 and the Big 12 at 2-5.

But the Big Ten's elite teams performed better than any other conference, with the top three teams in the league - Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin - going 4-0 in bowl and playoff games.

The Big Ten's Ohio State closed out the post season with a 42-20 victory over Oregon for the national championship.

B...1...G B...1...G B...1...G B...1...G B...1...G

Not bad for a conference that was an underdog in all 11 games.
