Dantonio brings it on that side, for sure. Even with their slow tempo offense they are still #1 in Yards per play on D.

Illinois is really beating themselves. Fumble on an overly complicated double reverse, and then an ill advised trick play fail that contributed to sparty's goal line stance.

They're running trick plays and over complicated double reverses at the goal line because they're scared of Sparty's D. We can go back and forth all day. These decisions weren't made in a vacuum and Sparty still has to make a play.
