MSU may be the closest to a Tressel-coached team in the B1G, with Dantonio and Bollman running the show. They could be very dangerous the next several years.

Illinois and Purdue also made Nebraska's D look like they were on the right track. Most of the Big10 can play each other any week... but those 2 would struggle in the MAC at their current level.
MSU's Defense is amazing. But their Offense still has to show up against Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Minnesota.
Coming into this week Nebraska and MSU controlled their own destiny, now just MSU does... but I'm skeptical. It looks like a race to the bottom in the Legs division; everyones got a respectable team and nobody looks head and shoulders above the rest yet.

I'll give you guys that MSU looks like a vintage Tressel team but they don't have Jim Tressel and they don't have the same kind of talent he was working with in his prime.

I'm not going to get too worked up about Dantonio, Bollman and a bunch of guys OSU didn't recruit beating up on Illinois.

Minney at 5 and 2 says more about their ooc schedule than their potential. Gopher fans may try and channel the ghost of Bronco Nagurski. Won't help. Nebraska may not have a lot of defense, but it'll be more than enough to trap Goldie the Gopher.
