They're running trick plays and over complicated double reverses at the goal line because they're scared of Sparty's D. We can go back and forth all day. These decisions weren't made in a vacuum and Sparty still has to make a play.

I'm not taking anything away from Sparty's defense, but Illinois is helping to dig their own hole. Lol, just as I wrote this, illinois defender gets an assist on MSU's TD.

I hear ya. I just think that when a team knows they're playing a nasty D, they're more likely to try absurd shit and turn the ball over. If Sparty had a real college level offense, they'd be dangerous.
