I'm not drinking any more kool aid than the guy who thinks Derrick Green would be the 5th best running back on osu......

For you to think that you guys would beat tOSU for the B1G title in Miller's Sr. season with a seasoned group of playmakers on both sides of the ball then you are drinking something a lot stronger than Kool-Aid...

if you build your offense around a power run game, the play action will help in getting defenses to bite and cause some separation. Not saying we don't need some burners to force defenses to respect the deep ball, but at least they are getting taller on the outside. Just my IMO.

play action to TE's is so 1990's

Play action to tall, slow trees on the outside, and apparently, using TEs in play action is 1990's.

And speed is overrated? He just summed up this guy's career in one short, simple sentence:

Aren't you the one who always says that you don't judge recruits until they actually get on the field?

I understand the UM folks think those three WRs they picked up don't need speed to be successful in a play action offense. But it would seem that nobody else agrees. The three they picked up received a total of one offer outside of UM and the MAC - and that was from Illinois.

They also recruited four CBs who have a combined offer list only slightly better with offers from schools like Arizona and Tennessee as most notable.
Even among their two safeties it is only Thomas who got a better offer than Iowa.

Still, that should be sufficient to stop other teams with slow WRs who are also running play action.

This is a very overrated class.

Right. Some kid not even on campus yet would immediately jump our entire backfield, several of whom have 29+ games experience.

I'll say it now...The Hoosiers will give the scUMmers fits. If nothing else it looks like Indiana got some speed.

How can you call them overrated? They got Shane Morris for crying out loud.

9000 posts and you still don't understand Oh8. Mich. locked up all of thes guys early, and Hoke and Mattison are such formidable adversaries to go up against on the recruiting front that once they committed to skunkbear, there just wasn't in sense for any big power school in cfb to extend an offer and come poking around. I am still dumbfounded that we got Conley away from them. A fluke I guess.
