2013 TSUN Football News

I guess we shouldn't feel bad for him being injured then?

Who the fuck is "we"? Tsun fans can cry themselves to sleep. Honestly, I could not give a single fraction of a fuck that some back-up's back-up tweaked his whatever. That's your problem. I've never wished for anyone to be injured, but I save my feelings for things that bother me. TSUN players having to watch a game from the sideline wearing sweats instead of pads doesn't even register.

OL, WRs continue to look very mediocre, and the jump ball in traffic is alive and well.

Coach Hoke, welcome to the board. Your command of the English language is as impressive as ever.

Thanks Muck, but that is not me, those posts are by some of my special Coach Hoke fans.
You guys are so classy and accommodating of Coach Hoke here, I direct them over to you guys for some great conversation about B1G football.
I am so blessed by all the scarlet chicklets you are sending my way, would prefer to see some maize and blue, but understand the traditions you have to honor exceptional posters.
Please tell my special fans how they can become donors in the BP fund like me and get one of those cool banners.

I think the touchdowns he scored in those games totaled what Braxton scored the whole season.

Miller accounted for 28 touchdowns in the 2012 season (passing and running).

Garder accounted for 18 touchdowns in the ENTIRE 2012 season (passing and running).

What math do they teach up there that makes 18=or>28?

There are over 7 billion people in the world. Average life expectancy is something shy of 70 years. That's roughly 100,000,000 people dying every year - or 19 per minute.

Great opportunity to get your post count up.

Have your laugh, but at the same time, get serious. Russell Bellomy's injury rates pretty damn low on the scale of misfortunes that people should get themselves exercised about. To suggest that everyone, on a rival sports message board or anywhere else, should make the ritual "I bemoan this tragedy" statement is foolish. You may want to consider being a bit less of a fool. Or as Buckyle put it more succinctly:

But if you look at Gardners numbers the last 6-7 games he started he had the best stats of any qb in the big and it was not close and top 5 of any qb in the nation within the games he started. I think the touchdowns he scored in those games totaled what Braxton scored the whole season.

Gardner started only 5 games in 2012: an efficient win over Minnesota with 255 total yards (wow!), big numbers against Northwestern and Iowa (double wow!), a fairly awful outing in losing The Game, and a pretty mediocre 50% passing day in a bowl game loss. All while rushing for 20 yards a game!!!

Gardner was 11 for 20 in The Game 1 TD/1INT, total of 171yds....75 of which came on one play that was a long run after a missed tackle. Mr mobility was also sacked 4 times and gained 12 total yards on 7 carries.

In other words he did exactly dick.

Anyone trying to compare him to Miller as a dual threat QB isn't watching the same game the rest of the world is.

He had 3 decent games against 3 bad defenses. He was exposed by 2 good defenses and lets be honest, the 2012 OSU Defense wasn't a vintage OSU defense by any stretch of the imagination.

Gardner started every game in 2012. Only 5 at QB.

I think the cancer run at the Nebraska spring game is finally going to end the suffering of having to see the replay on Sportscenter.

That hit was one of the best plays ever! I love after he goes ballistic he picks up the ball like it was a loaf of bread and heads to the end zone like he was late for lunch.

He may have played in every game, but he only started a few, with Roundtree and Gallon ahead of him: MGoBlow bio says he has started 9 career games at QB and WR. But even there his 16 catches in 7 games are not very noteworthy.
