2013 TSUN Football News

Are you seriously whining about there not being a bunch of flowery "get well soon" posts on a Buckeye board when TSUN's 4th string QB gets hurt in spring practice?

I had that thought for a second, but I think what he meant was if the guy didn't play well, then Buckeye fans are implying that TSUN fans shouldn't feel like his injury will hurt the team.

Which is still a silly post, but not based on such a ridiculous premise as the other interpretation.

I said the same thing to Michigan fans on another board. People seem to be more upset that this is going to force Morris into action instead of getting his redshirt. Couple that with pointing out how bad he played when he got in is just ridiculous. I don't care if he's a bench warmer or an All America. A kid gets hurt and the selfish nature of society kicks in as opposed to just wishing him well and hoping he can better.

I know I don't want him going out there as a true freshman, but that doesn't trump my feelings for a kid getting injured.

It sucks every time a kid gets hurt. But we don't all have to chime in with our deepest sympathies. It's pretty well understood that nobody likes seeing a kid get hurt. I don't think it needs to be stated every single time somebody gets injured.

There are over 7 billion people in the world. Average life expectancy is something shy of 70 years. That's roughly 100,000,000 people dying every year - or 19 per minute.

Great opportunity to get your post count up.

Your constitution towards platitudes is weak.

Whenever a player gets hurt, it sucks. Doesn't negate the fact that your back-up QB isn't gonna be ready for the big stage either way. Would you rather throw an experienced crappy QB or a twig of a 5 star QB that constantly got smoked by good competition in non 7 on 7 drills.

You don't want Shane Morris going out there in high school, unless it's to play flag football.

We should be the one's getting condolences here.

I'm sure Sugar Shane will suck big time if called on but that's just a guess, however well founded. We KNOW this fucktwit sucks and now we are deprived of his suckitude if Gardner gets hurt.

We are the victims here.
