Don't you know? A loss to Utah or Tennessee just means they had an off day, it doesn't mean anything. It's as if the pollsters are playing a game of Simon Says as far as what games matter and what ones don't, and rank teams based on that. Simon Says Stanford's loss to Utah doesn't matter. Simon Says South Carolina's loss to Tennessee is irrelevant. Simon Says Wisconsin's loss to Arizona State is worse.

If - a strong IF - the top 2 stay unbeaten, I get the feeling this will be like 2003 all over again.

We would see the Buckeyes in a BCS Bowl game against a conference champ, Zona St, that no one really respects. The Bucks would pound them all game long and after a win they would still get no respect.

If FSU and Bama win out then I too hope it's like 2003, but for a very different reason. AP Championship for us!

But I thought that the PAC was one of the two best conferences in the world????????

I am surprised no one has come up with the strangest scenario of them all which I actually think could happen. OSU beats Scum and MSU. Bama loses to Auburn or in the SEC Chamionship game. Winston is charged and suspended, but FSU wins their last two games. As the only two undefeated teams from major conferences, OSU and FSU (without Winston) play for the MNC.

Mark May and (insert OSU hater in the media name here) heads explode as OSU wins a National Championship without "playing anyone"

If Winston is suspended, FSU will drop in the human polls. Auburn would jump them in that scenario.

And achieves the easiest 40 game winning streak ever as of this time next year.

I've thought of that, but it will only result in ESPN badmouthing us for the next 12 months as we still hadn't had to beat a real team.

Put me in the camp of I don't care who we play or what conference they're in, I just want the Bucks on a 25 game winning streak to have a chance to play for the national championship. No matter how we get there or what the outcome, ESPin will spin it however they want.
