Beat SEC #2 (Arkansas) in Sugar Bowl, beat Pac-12 #1 (Oregon) in Rose bowl. Not to mention, last year the Big Ten went to 7 bowls, most of them against SEC/Pac-12 top teams, and 6/7 of them were close games a.k.a. either wins or good losses according to this guy.

That's Jon Wilner. Think of him as the white Mark May. His schtick is pissing off Ohio State fans.

That was something close to my conclusion as well.
Two times he states that what makes College Football great is the controversy generated by these polls. Basically he admits that himself, and the media in general, use the polls to be dicks... generate controversy... etc.

Follow the money.

If the NCAA had any sack, they'd tell the Mediots to go pound sand, take over Division 1A football and make it into any other NCAA sanctioned sport where there are playoffs for championships. But since they lack the foresight to see the money that could be made for the money in hand, we're stuck with this crap.

Baylor plays at a rated Okie State next Saturday which should be a good test for them. Okie State just manhandled Texas. If Baylor wins I have no problem with them jumping us next week. But in the weeks ahead we could jump them. Lots of football left.
