2013 Preseason and regular polls

Neither would I. Mizzou is a great team. Funny how the 2 BIG12 teams make the SEC champ game 2 years in a row against the unstoppable force and juggernaut that is the SEC. :roll2:
I agree with the premise of your post, that the Big 12 teams have had more success than SEC heads expected, but neither Aggie or Mizzou made the SEC CCG last season. Last season's game was 'bama vs. UGA.

Not a poll but here is what one bookie thinks:
According to Las Vegas insider RJ Bell of Pregame.com, Ohio State would be a 2½-point favorite over Auburn if the two teams played today.
If Ohio State and Florida State meet in the national title game, Bell said the early spread at the Golden Nugget would be the Seminoles -9½.
Perhaps the most interesting note Bell put out there was that Alabama would still be favored over every other team in college football – including Florida State
I guess he forgot all about Missouri:lol:

Ohio State opens as a six-point favorite over Michigan State, other mythical spreads gives unique insight to BCS race

I totally think Missouri is going to roll Auburn next week.

As for being huge underdogs to FSU, I'm all for it. I like what happened last time that Meyer went into a NC game that nobody gave him a chance to win.

I have no idea of that which you speak. Was that the year we beat #2 ranked scUM and had a bowl ban? We just can't catch a break!

Brad Edwards on Finebaum today after having 14 hours to crunch some maths.

“Auburn is going to have to be ranked ahead of Ohio State in about 75% of the human ballots. Let that sink in for a while.”

Off the cuff cypherin' tells me that even if those SEC coaches keep Ohio State down at 5 and 6, they'll still need to flip over 20 additional voters from last weeks ballots to reverse Ohio State and Auburn.
