Ok, starting things off w/ Big Ten conversation. Consensus is Ohio State and Michigan State won't be available to us after next weekend.

Capital One Bowl ‏@CapitalOneBowl 18m
Clarity on the Ohio State/Michigan State tweet: only reason it came up is because IF one of them falls to us, they're more or less a lock.

Its like the Capital One Bowl is a fat chick at the bar and its about closing time, and neither Ohio State nor _ichigan state wants to go home with her.

Let's see what the official margin is - but you want to believe that MSU won't be penalized too much for losing to Ohio State. Unfortunately reality says they will be.....

oh, not dispute there at all, but every Harris and Coaches poll voter could drop Sparty out of the top 25 all together and it still won't have any effect on Ohio States BCS score. Sparty will still have the same record, same opponent record and same quality wins and losses which is the only thing that affects Ohio States score as far as Sparty goes anyway.

The only debate that should be happening is who should be ranked higher between Auburn & Mizzou. Auburn gets throttled by LSU & Mizzou loses to South Carolina in double OT, without their starting QB. If someone wants to bitch, it certainly shouldn't be the Auburn faithful. They're EXTREMELY lucky to be where they are.

If we win. It's OSU to BCS Championship, MSU to Rose Bowl.

If we lose it's MSU to Rose Bowl and OSU to Orange Bowl. The only teams that (currently) have a shot at the rose bowl, provided we lose would be Baylor, Clemson and us. We bring in the most money and fans and would be the best one loss available (SEC sends their two teams to BCS Championship and Sugar, PAC only has 2-losses, and ACC has FSU and some 2-losses). So it would be OSU/Baylor if they want the 'best' teams, and OSU/Clemson if they want to keep the ACC tie, though they don't have to. Baylor/Clemson, even if we were to drop below Baylor would not be a money making match-up. Of course this goes to heck if we lose and FSU loses. Though I don't think they are planning on charging Winston (if at all) until after next week.

True, but that will be settled in Atlanta so it really doesn't matter.

The real bullshit is that despite Sparty's only loss being to a rival, at ND, in September, by four points, before their offense clicked, is just now cracking the top ten. Everyone has realized that the ACC is overrated, yet they haven't penalized Clemson for getting buttfucked. at night, at home.

The polls this year are so far removed from reality that anyone using them as a basis for an argument has lost credibility to me.

Been saying this for weeks now, along with SC and Stanford with 2 losses being ahead of hem.

Wash you mouth out with soap and disinfect your keyboard, don't even think about (say or type) that.
Go Bucks, and MSU sucks too; however, maybe not as much as scUM.:banger:

Words escape me at this point. Ohio State sure did fail to dominate a seemingly mediocre scUM team. But does Auburn really have a leg to stand on with this argument. If Gawga doesn't brainfart then Auburn isn't even in the picture.
