Yeah I wouldn't trade a run with a bunch of national championships and a 6-6 season at the end for a Michigan Man with "solid character" either.

This is exactly what I'm banking on. Let 'em play and they lose respect. Way way way too early in his tenure there to set a two standard system.

I think we all kinda know how that eventually ends up. Good luck with that.

Even if he sits the first series. That's just stupid. Either sit him for the whole game or start him and let him play the whole game.

The whole sit him for a series thing has always seemed more of a mockery than just starting the player from the get go.

Nice of you to express your opinion on this message board. Which is exactly what everybody else has been doing.

Personally, I think it would be a mistake for Hoke to play him; since it could lead to more discipline problems later on. But if he makes that mistake I won't be unhappy about it; I hope last year's 11-2 record with a favorable schedule and a couple of breaks ends up being an aberration, rather than an indication of Hoke being the right guy to return TSUN to national prominence.

I hope that Hoke isn't the guy to turn around tsun and that he is only good enough to keep them hoping with him at the helm for a long run of 8-4 and 9-3 seasons... Just good enough but not great.
