The fuck...? They moved up 6 spots for beating 3-5 Tennessee by 3, at home, and losing their best offensive player for the year?

Buckeyes very nicely placed to end the year in the top three. Not much in it for the 5 - 7 ranked teams. Oregon has three tough games left.

Too early to assume the Buckeyes win out, but I like the way things look for a first year under Urban Meyer. Contrast his start with Penn State or USC in a year without a bowl game. Me likey!

BCS rankings just came up. Oregon #4 after #2 Kansas State, and #3 Notre Dame. It would be funny if the computers rejected ND from #1 or #2 based on strength of schedule... Would teach them a lesson. I, for one, am rooting for Snyder!

Wait, wut? Notre Dame consistently has a strong schedule because of all of their rivalries. This year is no exception. I hate their fans as much as anyone else, but what they are doing this year is impressive. Manti Te'o is the best LB I've seen in a long time. I've got nothing but respect for what he's accomplished in his time in South Bend.

According to this week's rankings, the computers like Kansas State and ND more than they do Alabama.

Teach them a lesson? I don't think many teams could load up a much tougher September and October schedule prior to the beginning of the season. November is a different story, but it's still all FBS teams that are part of the major conferences. Irish were considered to have one of the toughest schedules before the season began.

I really hate to say this, but ND seems to be for real this year. Much less mistakes on the offensive side of the ball, and the defense is playing light years better than they have in the past decade.

I know I will get blasted for this, but if by some miracle (since they are already trying to pre-determine another all SEC NC game) ND makes it to the NC game against an SEC team, I will root for the Irish.

If it ends up being KSU vs ND in the NC game (highly doubt this will happen or Slive might go on a a shooting spree) then I will be rooting for the Fighting Snyders.

This. 4 teams in the top 10, and one just on the cusp. Two more in the Top 20. Seriously, the love affair is crazy, I don't think they're all top 25 material. Now that Florida lost I fully expect the media to be on LSU's dong until they lose to Alabama Saturday.

its the whole self fulfilling prophecy of the almighty sec. They have to keep giving these high rankings to the middle of the pack sec teams (this year means everyone not named bama). Who has georgia beaten? Who has fla beaten? who has south carolina beaten?

They've beaten powerhouses such as Teneessee, Arkansas, and 2-years-removed-from-NC AUBURN WAR EAGLE RAWR!
