2012 NBA Finals: Thunder vs Heat (OK to bet)

Two thoughts

James is basically AI from a team building blueprint... One player with the ball and 4 role players.... True stars make roleplayers into great players, James makes Stars into Role players. Wade may be injured, but Wade has become a shell of his pre James self.

Nash won't help the heat, since Nash is a PG that has the ball in his hands and well... James without the ball in his hands is about as useful as well me in an NBA game... :P

I think people are writing the Heat off a little too early. I agree that Dallas was the easier matchup last year, but remember that the Heat blew a huge lead in Game 2 and Lebron completely disappeared in the final few games. That and Jason Terry played out of his fucking mind.

I think Game 2 will tell us a lot about this series. If Durant is able to go off in the 4th quarter again, I agree it might be time to begin writing the Heat's 2012 obituary. But I think Miami will make some adjustments.

Oh, definitely. I still think LeBron continues to do his thing (maybe even more now that he sees it wasn't enough) and eventually Wade will either pull his head out of his ass or have the refs do it for him.

It was just one game and there will be so many more adjustments throughout the series. Vital that the Thunder win tomorrow and hold serve at home. 2-0 in this 2-3-2 format is huge. Just don't see the home team winning all 3 at home, so going up 2-0, winning 1 on the road, and then 2 chances to close out at the best arena in the game? Huge game tomorrow.

Amazingly shitty first quarter for OKC but it's the NBA, lots of time left.

Still, falling behind 25-8 is never a good idea.
