It was just one game but I was surprised at a couple of things:
1. OKC struggled again in the first half to rotate on defense and close out on shooters. It killed them at times in the Spurs series. But just like that series, they got stronger as the game went on.
2. Why isn't Lebron guarding Durant in the 4th quarter? That is tactical incompetence to have your best defender (maybe the best in the whole league) guarding Thabo Sefalosha as your team is getting torched.
Each game will be different. The Thunder need to get a better start in Game 2. The Heat won't make the same mistakes in the 2nd half. The Thunder had to have Game 1 - so the win really changes nothing in this series. If the Heat take Game 2, they'll still have the advantage.
So my message to OKC would be: take nothing for granted. It was 1 game. You need to win 4. Prepare for some changes.
