I just dated this one
So, you're into leather and rough trade. We'll keep that in mind, buddy, as we keep our distance.

Help me understand something about the culture we (Nebraska Fan) are entering. What does "tsun" mean? I get that it's a reference to Michigan, but I can't figure out the acronym.

That State/School Up North
Hayes usually referred to Michigan as "That School Up North", supposedly because he could not bring himself to speak the name Michigan...hence OSU fans refer to UM as 'TSUN'. He also referred to it as "that state up north" or "that team up north" .
Woody, famous for his hatred for Michigan and anything that had to do with the state, was on a recruiting trip in the state of Michigan, when an assistant noticed that the car he was driving was going to run out of gas and told Woody, who was dozing in the passenger seat. Woody refused to let him pull over for gas and the assistant drove on. The assistant saw the weather was starting to get bad, and worried they'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere, again stressed to Woody they needed to get gas. Woody then erupted: "No, goddammit! We do NOT pull in and fill up. And I'll tell you exactly why we don't. It's because I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan! We'll coast and PUSH this goddam car to the Ohio line before I give this state a nickel of my money!" They barely made it across the border and stopped, almost literally, at the first gas station they found in Ohio.

The Michigan family just lost Jim Mandich to cancer at the young age of 62. Cancer really blows. RIP big guy.

Normally, I wouldn't make comments towards those who have passed away, even those directly associated with Michigan football, especially those passing from cancer (being a cancer survivor myself), that could be interpreted as disrespectful. That said, while I feel for Mandich's family and friends, to "Mr. Schadenfreude" I say, "Karma, mother fucker."

This pre-dates me. Would you mind elaborating on the Karma statement?

Watch the HBO special The Rivalry, in which he snidely comments about schadenfreude (pleasure in the misery of others) in relation to their 1969 epic upset win in Ann AreWhore. He was from Ohio, too...dead or not, he was a smart-assed, snooty traitor.

I had lunch with a Michigan grad at work today. He claims that people are so fed up with the downfall of Michigan football that he give Hoke only two years to turn it around. That is unbelieveable!! When I challenged him by stating that "RR certainly left the cupboard bare unless you are going to remake the Wizard of Oz, and the program was left in shambles..." He stated he original premise that Hoke only had two years to turn the ship around because we have been dreadful for too long.

"Too long?" Heck, Scum came within one game in 2006 for playing for all the marbles. His response yeah, but we could have had Les Miles...He told me some of his fellow alums feel the same way.....
What is wrong with these people? Hoke was given a mess and hasn't coached a game at Michigan and they are already planning his demise...:!

Damn glad I am a Buckeye!!!:oh:
