2011 TSUN shenanigans and arguments (off season)

I had lunch with a Michigan grad at work today. He claims that people are so fed up with the downfall of Michigan football that he give Hoke only two years to turn it around. That is unbelieveable!! When I challenged him by stating that "RR certainly left the cupboard bare unless you are going to remake the Wizard of Oz, and the program was left in shambles..." He stated he original premise that Hoke only had two years to turn the ship around because we have been dreadful for too long.

"Too long?" Heck, Scum came within one game in 2006 for playing for all the marbles. His response yeah, but we could have had Les Miles...He told me some of his fellow alums feel the same way.....
What is wrong with these people? Hoke was given a mess and hasn't coached a game at Michigan and they are already planning his demise...:!

Damn glad I am a Buckeye!!!:oh:

I'm fed up as well but please.....Hoke should get at least 3 years and I personally think he should get 4 due to Rich Rod screwing us up. Michigan has a good defensive cordinator in place and seem to have the right approach. They just need to land the right players. It's going to take some time so people need to chill out.

my biggest concern is OC......I don't have much faith in Borgess. But i'll at least wait until some actual game footage before burying the guy.

No way is Dave Brandon going to give Hoke only two years to turn that ship around. That is a five year project (maybe less depending on the NCAA ruling on Tatgate).

And Les Miles does less, with more talent, than anyone in the NCAA. Michigan is better off not having him as coach...

Yeah I feel the same way. He said they will use the shotgun more this fall. If they want Denard as a QB they have to adapt to DRob.

Rich Eisen was touting his Michigan education and puffing his chest on NFLN moments before being informed that Slippery Rock has had as many players picked, so far, as TSUN.

NFL Draft Recap from shutdown corner at Yahoo

Appy State is still beating scUM

10. Appalachian State is still beating Michigan.
On September 1, 2007, Appalachian State shocked the Michigan Wolverines (and the rest of the world) by beating them, 34-32. On April 30, 2011, Appalachian State (Daniel Kilgore, Mark Legree, D.J. Smith) shocked the Wolverines again (Jonas Mouton, Steve Schilling) by beating them, 3-2, in draft picks. Some teams just have other teams' numbers.

further proof that App State is better than people wanted to believe?

in reality though, for me, I really don't care about how many guys are drafted into the NFL. All I care about is winning on Saturday. That statistic does not mean much to me.

Hate to say it, but I'm with Mike on this one. I'm happy to see any Buckeye drafted, but what means most to me is to see us win on Saturdays. Like I said LOVE to them get taken, but LOVE winning much more.
