Indiana is next and I'm being serious...they are after a CB commit from there.
Is there any chance at all that scUM finishes last in the Big Ten next season?
It really is sad to think that the FORMER power house is going to be fighting for recruits with MAC teams. Well kinda sad and kinda funny all at the same time, huh Mike!:osu:

I actually think they'll see some modest improvements next season. They'll be better fundmentally (have to be) under Shrek and his staff than they could ever be under da rod. Mattison doesn't have much to work with, but junking that ridiculous scheme and teaching a few kids to tackle isn't beyond reason. The key will be how the offense adapts to Borges' scheme. They won't be as explosive yardage-wise, but could wind up more efficient. Plus, they have a pretty weak schedule. If the offense doesn't fall flat on it's face and the defense at least learns some fundamentals and how to tackle, 7-8 wins would be my bet.

Long term, we'll have to see how Shrek recruits after getting his footing. This class is now scraping the bottom of the barrel for warm bodies. Beav says they're still expecting a full class, but they're after the same kind of kids dickrod was getting (MAC / bottom of the B10 level kids). Not sure why they don't just bank them for next year. Getting kids ranked #50-110 at their position doesn't set you up for long term success.

If you look at the offer list the Minnie kid is actually one of the better recruits they have landed.

But my favorite thread at Stadium and Main (S&M is the perfect abbreviation for a UM football forum) is the one that expresses concern that if they fill up this years class they wont have enough slots for all the talent that is available next year. They have EIGHT commits with 12 days till signing.
