I wanna hear what went down with McReynolds. There were rumors that he committed but they were false, sounds like he loved it here.

The Buckeye Buzz
Nick Leach | April 28, 2010 | Smith
With the Spring Game freshly put behind us, ThaRinger felt it was a good time to take another look at how the Buckeye Buzz is budding. It's not just nature that is starting to take form either as now the direction of programs per recruiting are growing with increasing clarity provided by new offers. We'll take a look at recruits we feel are seriously looking at OSU (whether offered or not). Others with OSU offers but seemingly no interest will not be included for the sake of being concise (even though we know you all would love nothing more than to read an OSU recruiting novella!).

IMO, this is how it is shaking out right now:
Plan A (have offers)
Cornerbacks
Doran Grant
DerJuan Gambrell
Damian Swann
Jabriel Washington
Safties
Jeremy Cash
Ronald Tanner
Wayne Lyons
Jabari Gorman
Michael Caputo
Hasean Clinton-Dix
Plan B (do not have offers)
Cornerbacks
Jonathan Aiken
Kenny Mullen
Roger Williamson
Andrew Johnson
Safties
Eilar Hardy
Gerrod Holliman
Patrick Martin
Nick Stoner
These "Plan B" guys are the guys really that I can think of having heard there's mutual interest, but no offers yet (am I missing anybodyfrom either list?). I truly hate using the term "Plan B" by the way.

Chiles wasn't much help either, and it looks like they'll be turning to a green 2nd year QB just like after Vince. Booty wasn't exactly stellar either and many SC fans wondered if Sanchez would've done better had he won the starting job and developed sooner.Really? Because I'm pretty sure Jevon Snead transferred from Texas when McCoy won the starting spot. Similarly, USC had three guys vying for the QB spot this year in Mustain, Barkley, and Corp. That didn't exactly work out great for them this year.

The point is you can take all of the QBs you want, you'll likely endure some hardship when it comes time to replace a starter, whether you have 8 5-stars or none.Gilbert did fine with McCoy out. And putting an inexperienced QB in is the nature of the business when you have a superstar who previously started. Its not like we had much experience at QB when Troy left.
Any coach would, but the 85 rule doesn't allow for that freedom. You have to weigh those needs very carefully.I just personally would like another kid thrown in the mix in competition.
