2010 TSUN News (in-season)

RR released a statement saying he was transferring to look for other oppurtunities and that he was a good man and wishes him luck. Doesn't sound like there's any bad blood. Just a shame.

Good luck to Vlady. Wish it would have worked out better.

FIXED:

-= HELP WANTED =-

Former Major D1A/FBS football program in need of defensive backs. Candidates must show ability to run. Walking is acceptable too, but we'd really prefer running. Must possess ability to throw hands up helplessly when WR turns head around and fold arms across chest like you 'meant to do that' should you dumb-luck your way into a PBU. PBU means "pass break up" and we do not require candidates to know that.

If you own a jock strap and cleats, your application cannot be denied. In fact, you may start this Saturday.

Call 1-888-DICKROD for further details. Actually, don't call. Just come ready to practice today. Or tomorrow. Or, don't bother practicing if that's too much. Just show up on Saturday and ask for a uniform. You're in.

And keep this in mind if you are thinking about transferring:

Probably not anything they'd like to say publically, but I doubt Rich Rod was too pleased when Vlad stepped into his office and said, "Hey coach, got a second"?

The lack of depth in the secondary is comical. One starter, a true freshman, is out for Saturday. It will catch up with them.

oh for sure. I just meant that if Vlad was transferring due to bad blood or something, there probably would have been an even more generic press release. Something like:

"Vlad has asked for his release, and we have granted it."

the end.

So are you guys laying wood, spotting balls or holding ropes. I am so damn confused.

No no silly. The old Michigan teams were laying the wood, climbing mountains, etc.

Now it's all about spotting balls, holding ropes, and the traveling circus. The circus will be in Indiana this Saturday. All ages welcome. Might even see Jesus.

Another point. All I hear is Uconn sucked, if they didn't have drops it would have been close, if they tackled better, blah blah blah. Probably coming from people that predicted a Uconn win....which is funny.

What if Michigan had better players on their roster? How about better coaches. Well they don't. It is what it is. Maybe I'm just a half glass full kind of guy. Well not always, but often more times than not.

It really is scary with all the players that have transferred or left from the secondary.

Shit happens.

Secondary will be young for the next few years.

"Those who stay..." will need to play iron man football soon if this keeps up.

Seriously, I am going to have to stop picking on the Mich@g@n fans in my life this year. Its gone from comical to sad. Fully expecting it to swing back to comical in November though. 7 TD's through the air will be HIlarious:biggrin:.

Or "I only talk about Wolverines". That's a good one, too.

Sounds like scUM fans after the Navy game and THE GAME last season...just sayin'. It goes both ways.

I really think UConn played about as well as they could have for being an opener and well they suck. DR played an extraordinary game and it's definitely something positive to build on for this weeks ND game.

As far as UConn, I see the Huskies doing exactly jack and shit this year. They play defense like shit and there offense isn't much better... tsun ran the same damn play 29 times and edsall still hasn't figured that out!!!

To put it in contrast, I heard first hand from several tsun fans last year after the Navy game..."if it weren't for one bad pass o-state goes down!!11!!1!!! to the middies!!" and navy actually ended up winning 10 games last season. I heard the same crap after The Game last year too...

Back to UConn, they will not match last years 8 win mark. I know most teams improve throughout the year but they'll be lucky if to end up bowl eligible.

Point being: you won an opener but :scum4:still.
