Bottom Line

The O needs more help than it's getting.

Simple as that.

Well, Thomas, I'd argue that the "O" needs to play 4 quarters, not just run around with their hair on fire in the 2nd half because they sleep walked through the 1st half. Three weeks in a row their offense has been pretty mediocre in the 1st half and have had to attempt to mount ferocious comebacks. Yeah, the defense sucks, but the offense isn't free from blame in the fall back to reality, thomas.

Agreed.

The O had 10 points during what most would consider the competitive portion of the football game.

Stats/points racked up against defenses playing with 2-3 TD leads should be taken with a grain of salt but I think the point of no return was passed a long time ago in talking sense with these people.

So now that Rich Rod has lost to and looked completely unprepared for a mediocre PSU team after having 2 weeks to prepare it might be time to start thinking about the Jim Harbaugh era up North. But hold on. SI's Peter King mentioned that Jim Harbaugh might be the Carolina Panther's #1 coaching candidate in a tweet on the 28th. With big brother John doing so well wouldn't little brother want to outdo him in the NFL?

If say tsun goes 6-6 (for the sake of argument we give them the win over Purdon't, but one would have to have a petty strong imagination to see them beating Illinois, Wisconsin, or God forbid Ohio State), they have to fire him immediately after the season, right? But what if Harbaugh says no, and waits for the NFL? If he goes to tsun now he'll have to wait a few years before leaving there right?

So Harbaugh turns down tsun for the NFL? Does that leave them with Les Miles? Who else is there?

UM is all about hard work. Part of the Barwis effect.

Barwis don't coach defense. Athletes can be in great shape, but it won't mean shit if they don't wrap up, take poor angles, are put in positions they aren't comfortable in, poorly coached, etc.

No, he can leave whenever he wants. They could add a buyout clause, but they are too desperate to be picky.

What is sad is that Harbaugh probably has a HS kid who would be Michigan's best LB next spring. Whatever the case, they'll learn basic fundamentals that are still non-existent.

He might also find a way to teach UM how to field a kick/punt. Forget the kicking woes, UM has spent three years getting dominated by the ground in a game of catch.

You try beating air and then matching up against the ground too.

Not as easy as you think.
