TSUN FANS! DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS RUBBISH. 3 WINS. 5 WINS. 7 WINS. JUST THREE MORE YEARS AND YOU WILL WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

HE'S A MICHIGAN MAN! THESE OHIO STATE FANS AND THEIR PLANTS ON YOUR BOARDS DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTERESTS AT HEART.

DON'T BE FOOLED! KEEP RICHROD!

ONE DAY YOU WILL LOOK BACK AND SEE THAT THESE YEARS HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR THE GOLDEN YEARS.

RRod IS Our Coach - Reasons he should stay
Our board is not doing anything but stirring up speculation that is coming from nowhere. RRod will be the coach at least till after the bowl game so why deter away potential recruits with talk of firing him? Believe it or not recruits look at sites like this, and all your doing by bringing up new coaching names is hurting the program. RRod is our coach and here are some reasons why we will be successful in our bowl game and next year:

1. Biggest improvement among college football players is generally between year 1 and 2 of playing, and we were one of the youngest teams in the nation this year.
2. We have our Qb of the future. Denard will be the first returning Qb since RRod got here. We can safely expect him to play better next year
3. Depth next year- We'll have 20 returning starters next year. Add this with the fact that we got lots of our young guys game reps this year, and that equals depth for next year.
4. First bowl practices- No one can say that these extra practices will make all the difference in the wold, but they certainly can't hurt
5. Dee Hart - Denard's holes are going to open up that much more with a true home run HB threat

I believe RRod should stay at least one more year with a 9 win benchmark next year, anything less and I'll personally be in favor of him being fired. But in the grand scheme of things I think he gets it done. Did anyone ever think that the reason that he looked so out of it during the game and post game presser was because he hasn't slept in a week in preparation for this game? Guys we have one of the hardest working coaches in the game and I will support him with all my heart until DB decides he is not fit.

Here is to looking back at these seasons and laughing in 2 years, when we're playing in the NC every year. Please support our current staff until changed because we make a bigger difference than you can imagine. GO BLUE!

ps- feel free to add other reasons why RRod should stay and the POSITIVES!

So, he hadn't slept all week preparing THAT gameplan with THOSE results. Yep, that's reason to keep him. :slappy:

All these "All In" clowns are is nothing more than your typical arrogant scUM trash. The arrogance is their unwillingness/inability to admit they made a colossal mistake. It's fucking great.

RE: What ever happen to the Barwis Effect?
Why Barwis hasn't been fired? Did you see the energy of our defense in the fourth quarter? Did you see Barwis firing up the team on the sidelines the entire game? Get lost.

energy of the defense in the 4th quarter? Ohio State was up 37-7 and basically gutting clock and running up the middle nearly every play

RE: What ever happen to the Barwis Effect?
It actually works much better after 3 or 4 years. You're blaming him for not being able to overcome freshmen and sophmores vs juniors and seniors? The only place this shows is in the younger guys and you can only add so much weight and make people so strong so fast. It's hardly an overnight thing, but once again Michigan fans have absolutely ZERO patience so I'm not surprised. Just another in a multitude of ridiculous topics of discussion lately.

its been 3 years....but give it one more for good measure

Nah keep Barwis. He has turned our midgets into muscle midgets. When they graduate expect to see them in midget wrestling and boxing.

Yesterday, Victor Matfield played for three quarters in South Africa's rugby win over England with a broken rib. Without pads. In one of the highest contact positions.

Victor Matfield has been nominated as Rugby Player of the Year for 2010.

Yesterday, we saw Denard Robinson saw the Ohio State Buckeye defense. He didn't need to see the entire game to know that Denard Robinson doesn't want to see any more Buckeyes.

Denard Robinson...

When we're 9-0 coming back from Iowa City next year... 1 day and 1 hrs. ago (permalink)
1 I hope some of you remember how you're acting right now. When the offense is making minimal mistakes and are executing like an experienced offense should and our defense starts forcing a couple more 3 & outs per game, it's going to be interesting to see how some of you react. I hope Rich Rod never forgets how he was treated these first 3 seasons. GO BLUE!!!

0 Yeah UConn is a better team than both Utah and USC. Who have Utah and USC beaten that is in anyway impressive? Pitt in OT @ home? Minnesota on the road (LMAO @ Iowa)? If you would have made the statement after week 5 your argument may have held water, but Utah and USC have proven themselves to be jokes

nothing like pumping up a win over Uconn....who lost to temple and rutgers (who is terrible) and was dominated by Louisville

For all of us who suffered through the Cooper years, this Greg Doyle comment is pure gold. GOLD, Jerry!

For Ohio State, Rodriguez has been the gift that gives the whole year 'round. If he's not getting caught breaking NCAA rules against practice-time limits, Rodriguez is losing to every good team in the Big Ten -- and to lots of mediocre ones. And when he plays Ohio State, he's getting drilled. Rodriguez is 0-3 against Ohio State, and his teams have been outscored 100-24 in those three games.

Twice the officials penalized the Buckeyes with reactionary celebration penalties, forcing Ohio State to kick off from its 20. Against a good team, that sort of field-position slippage would be crippling. Against Michigan, it was amusing. It created a situation like the one in the third quarter, when the field-position game -- the only game Michigan was going to win -- saw the Buckeyes backed up to their 2.

^I must admit that I was surprised the Denard essentially took himself out of THE GAME. I know that dislocated fingers suck, but hell... carry the ball in your throwing hand. Tape 'em up, grow a sack, and get back in there.
You NEVER take yourself out of THE GAME. Unless you have a limb hanging solely by cartilage, are actually paralyzed, don't know the day of the week or cannot walk, you NEVER take yourself out of The Game. Hairlice may be a fantastic talent, but from what I've seen/heard, he needs to up his pain threshold. He's similar to how Beanie was in that matter...a generational talent with questionable toughness.
