Tom Beaver masturbates to duck porn...

He seems to fantasize that this is who scUM will eventually be, but conveniently ignores that Oregon isn't really all that more experienced....and they runa different version of the spread.

And they don't recruit midgets...

And they recruit players with talent....

And they actually somewhat play defense....

And they run more than 3 plays....

the list can go on and on and on and on and on and on....

Here's the interview causing all the drama:

http://detroitnews.com/article/20101021/OPINION03/10210333/1131/sports0201/Michigan%E2%80%99s-Rich-Rodriguez--Don%E2%80%99t-judge-us-too-soon

Apparently, the other day, dickrod made some comment about "Vince Lombardi couldn't help this defense" (paraphrase) alluding to the lack of talent and/or experience. A lot of people read this as him just trying to pass the buck again and a direct shot t his own players. Seems like it was said in jest to me, but he either doesn't understand the level to which his words are being scrutinized or he doesn't care. If ever an AD needed to put a lid on his head coach and bar him from interviews, it's the pizza guy and this clown. Time and time again he's opened his mouth only to have it blow up in his face.

Looks like a couple of Michigan commits have softened their commitments...Sousa and Brown...is this a trend? Is the lovefest over? Do they realize the ship is sinking?
Sousa always said he was going to take visits and frankly, I'm surprised they ever took his commitment. Brown is underperforming as a Senior and it might be a case of both sides cooling on eachother. Neither are important recruits. They don't need anymore "bodies" in the secondary, they need legit prospects, which Brown is not.

What they really, really, really need is DTs and LBs. They're getting mentioned by a few of each, but as of right now, don't seem to be the favorites for any really good ones. It looks like they're slowly giving up on Campbell at DT and he may switch to guard, with guard Q. Washington supposedly (possibly) moving to DT. Next year, their secondary should be slightly better, but they're perilously thin at DT and LB. So, in short, their defense is probably gonna be awful for the 4th straight year.

I looked at some of their remaining 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000 scholarships out and it doesn't look all that promising. I'm sure Sparty is now the apple of most State of Michigan recruits eyes. Sparty has a chance to have one hell of a class. Little brother is beating them on and off the field.

IMO RR getting canned and/or them tanking the rest of the season basically cost them this recruiting class...which is underwhelming.

IMO this is bigger news than people may think.

James Vandenberg. Tate's not even in the same ballpark.

What are you basing this off of?

Vandenberg is a good player but for his career he is less than 50% and has 5 INTs to 3 TDs. Little bet of a stretch to say they aren't in the same ballpark.

Having played against both of them, Buckeye fans are very knowledgable about both.

Vandenberg played the game of his life against Ohio State and we had to hit a game-winning field goal in OT to win.

Tate turned the ball over 5 times against Ohio State.

It's a no-brainer for this fan base. V-berg's mom is the cherry on top.
