2010 TSUN arguments & shenanigans (in-season)

he should go back to focusing on the offense. The scoring has dropped since he decided to "get more involved" on the defensive side.
perhaps he should plan that for Purdue because umass/uconn/bg/IU caliber defenses won't be involved in the wisconsin, illinois contests.

Let's not try acting as if UM played a better game than Iowa and deserved to win but for the turnovers. Iowa had that game in hand from the mid second quarter on, and played basically the entire second half in a prevent defense. In short, I'm not impressed with the 500+ yards stat, given the circumstances.

Secondly, how can you say that "the offense isn't the problem" when you readily admit that "it would help if Denard could throw?" Isn't that a big part of the offense?

First where did I say Michigan deserved to win? I gave all the props to Iowa and they deserved the win. I said that earlier but sometimes I have to repeat myself on this board to some people.

Yeah Denard doesn't need to be our starter, that's where I'm getting at. Michigan seemed to move the ball down the field better when he was in. He had two picks. First pick was him forcing it. Tate just needs to learn to throw it away sometimes. Then again with Michigan's defense, I would feel pressure as a qb as well.

Your words:

The turnovers have killed Michigan in the past two games despite putting up some yards.

In the next sentence you specifically note that UM put up 500+ yards. Now, you may not have specifically said that UM deserved to win, but the implication is pretty clear.

You do realize that had this game happened under RR's tenure, the Beaver would have boasted about how TSUN out-rushed, out-passed, and out-gained App St.

But, because it was under Lllllloyd Carr...everyone just simply says that they lost.

Sucks being Carr....

I think the "implication" was that they moved the ball. I don't see how that = deserved to win.

Just having some fun... and I said option STYLE, not option, where the bulk of ground yards is on the QB. If you want me to get 100% technical, I can elaborate. I figured that would kinda' be enough, but I guess i under-estimated. I was leading to the fact that all their eggs are in that one basket, and that basket is about to get pounded. That's all. We all KNOW the D is crap - plenty of examples every Saturday...

So the scUM fans are this thin-skinned, huh?

I heard all the Jacory this, harris interception that, receiver dropping this, but please thou shalt not speak bad of Michigan?

Grow a thicker coat and quit whining

You don't hear me bitching whining and asking for vagisil when the canes lay an egg *coug*OSU*Cough*FSU*cough*
and then I get to hear all the nice comments here :slappy:

As for me being here?
Well, quite honestly, it's cool around here - most UM boards have the sh!thead U fans, which I don't particularly care for. Course, I'm gonna have to tolerate a "few" in a couple days...

'nuff said?

Here ya go - on the house:

You call me thin skinned.......yet I have been on a buckeye site for nearly 2 years. You are the first person to say that on this board. That is a funny assumption.

I wasn't whining. I was just correcting you on the offense and backing it up with stats. Yeah we all knew Denard would get pounded. It also helps that Michigan may have the best backup QB in the conference. That is nice to have.

I just thought it was weird for a Miami fan to hate Michigan for whatever reason. That's all. It's fine if you hate us, we get plenty of hate from OSU, Mich St., ND, most big ten teams, and SEC fans. We are used to it. You can make fun of Michigan all you want. I really don't care.

Whatever dude. Mich St. and Iowa outplayed Michigan. They deserved the W. They executed, took care of the ball, and made key stops when they needed to. Props to both teams.

Michigan moved the ball on both teams. They have struggled in the red zone and they need to fix that if they want to win any more games this year.

Yes when a team has 4 turnovers and they don't force any.......that usually kills them. It's common sense. Michigan has 7 turnovers the last 2 games and forced 0. Most teams won't win doing that, especially Michigan who has one of the worst defenses in the country.

Am I clear now?
