We got stuck with the loudest Gator well after the dust had settled and the tears dried from the humiliation of that evening (read: the pain of Vanderbilt and Ole Miss fans trash talking about their victory).

try going through what UM fans have gone through the last 5 or so seasons, thin skin is definitely a thing of the past. There's nothing we haven't heard.

...and that's coming from your own fanbase. :wink2:

and you don't know humiliation apparently. Don't forget Toledo, at home.

Syracuse? please son. We own you in looking stupid.

Every time you mention Toledo you must also bring up that the Toledo coach who beat Michigan was fired due to his poor performance.

First off it's not an option style offense. They haven't ran one option all year.

The offense will put up some yards. The turnovers have killed Michigan in the past two games despite putting up some yards. Michigan put up 500+ yards on one of the best defenses in the conference. Then again that means jack if you turn the ball over 4 times. The offense can work. It would also help if Denard could throw. Teams will just stack up on Michigan until he can prove other wise. The offense isn't the problem.

The defense and special teams is what is hurting Michigan.

Let's not try acting as if UM played a better game than Iowa and deserved to win but for the turnovers. Iowa had that game in hand from the mid second quarter on, and played basically the entire second half in a prevent defense. In short, I'm not impressed with the 500+ yards stat, given the circumstances.

Secondly, how can you say that "the offense isn't the problem" when you readily admit that "it would help if Denard could throw?" Isn't that a big part of the offense?

LMAO.....I honestly didn't know that. I remember when beating Michigan guaranteed you like a 5 year extension in anything. Oh how times have changed

Yep. Just like last year. The one thing they think the team is actually really good at just isn't the case.

scUM ppg 1st five games 2010: 41.4
scUM ppg vs MSU and Iowa: 22.5

The ZOMG! offense is actually pretty pedestrian once they start facing defenses with a pulse. It certainly isn't as good as you would expect from a coach who ignores defense and special teams to focus the entire program solely on offense.
