Let's not try acting as if UM played a better game than Iowa and deserved to win but for the turnovers. Iowa had that game in hand from the mid second quarter on, and played basically the entire second half in a prevent defense. In short, I'm not impressed with the 500+ yards stat, given the circumstances.

Secondly, how can you say that "the offense isn't the problem" when you readily admit that "it would help if Denard could throw?" Isn't that a big part of the offense?

I don't see how then putting up 500 yards means the offense is the problem. He has specifically said they didn't deserve to win despite the 500 yards of offense due to the turnovers.

I don't know there is that much to quibble with here.

If Ohio State were to rack up 500 yards of offense, I'd for damn sure expect them to win. Michigan is no different.

Haters!!!

Haters coming out of the woodwork again

... this time making the Big Deal out of Rich's innocuous Lombardi-statement, where he was just trying to be funny and also excuse the youngster's performance.

It's the haters who's actual-job is to be 'on the team' that I'm talking about ... not fans, not the press-at-large ...

It's despicable. No Michigan Fan should support that - not for a minute.
