2010 polls - Pre-season and regular

I love it, Florida drops because of a poor showing...and Texas stays right where they were?

It will be interesting, with tOSU and Miami being ranked #2 and #12, if the Bucks 'only' beat Miami by a late, late drive that includes a questionable penalty, if the voters will see fit to move them up, or give them a few more first place votes. Because apparently surviving against a team ranked 10 spots below you is impressive as hell.

I don't know if you watched the two games, but the differences were night and day. Florida had a ton of mechanical errors and it felt like they could actually lose. Texas, while the scoreboard doesn't show it,was pretty much in control the whole game. They held rice to 0 yards in the 3rd quarter and Rice's last touchdown literally came in like the last minute of the game. And that wasn't the defense's fault, it was a muffed punt by our returner.

The fact that Iowa and Nebraska were moved down to make room for Oklahoma, yet Florida is still in the top ten...wow. Just how badly does Florida have to play to get punished for it?

What has Michigan done to deserve being ranked #21 in the nation?

How about Boise still getting credibility after Va Tech lost to James Madison... just saying, do voters really think they could take the teams they have them ranked ahead of.

That's OK, the AP ranked winless Oregon State at #25, so Boise will be able to defeat a second "ranked" team.
