It appears the Heisman has been stripped from shoelaces by the talking heads and is now being awarded to Cam Newton of Auburn.

I can live with that. Newton has stellar numbers in his team's two biggest games so far this season (South Carolina and the ongoing game against Arkansas).

Not saying I agree with it. But I wouldn't have a problem if they gave him the trophy if it were awarded right now.

To be honest, he reminds me of TP. An OSU-Auburn MNC game would be fun to watch.

Agreed. Although I haven't seen him play enough other than highlights to really be able to say for sure.

I have some family friends who are big Auburn fans too, so that would be great.

I've seen AU a few times and he can play. The first time I saw him I immediately thought of TP. Both are physical freaks playing QB.

TP gets to make his case in about an hour. :)
