Maybe I'm totally off-base, but isn't 10 hours/week a standard amount for watching film? I thought most QB's watched a few hours a day at least.

That was my first thought as well.

An hour and a half a day? Wow Tate, way to buckle down & hit the film room! (Do they still have film rooms?)

I'd echo those same thoughts. 10 hours is not an inordinatly long amount of time watching film for an entire week.

U-M audit: Football team failed to report player activities

University of Michigan football coaches failed to file the required monthly logs that track how much its players work out and practice, according to an internal audit released today.
University auditors, doing a routine check of the athletic program, could not find the necessary reports used to document how much time football players are spending in the work room and on the practice field.
According to an audit, obtained by The Detroit News, the football staff did not submit the practice logs for the 2008 season as required by NCAA rules. The team filed its out-of-season reports after the audit was completed and, as of July, the football staff had still not filed its 2008 monthly logs.

To be fair, all the reports and time-accounting was done properly, some GA just inadvertantly left it on the pile of documents labeled, "To be shredded at midnight when everybody has gone home."

It?s just that Ohio State is a lot more important to a lot more folks, and I understand it. Trust me. I understand the importance of each game.?

Michael Wilbon has apparently said he has it from a very good source that both Charlie the Hut (duh) and DickRod are both out at the end of this season. Today, more baaaad information has come out regarding missing practice audit logs from the entire 2008 season. Could there be a corralation? Who knows. Everything is speculation at this point.

I have no inside info, no links, but dickrod seems more vulnerable now than ever. If tOSU wins in a whitewash, it may be time to revive this bad boy:
