Several posters on their boards already predicting 8-4 or better due to the offensive showing...conveniently ignoring how awful the defense looks.

The RBs are getting 7-15 yards upfield without being touched or making any moves. This defense has taken a big step back so far, and it wasn't very good last year.Buckeye86;1447774; said:of course that has to be taken with a humongous grain of salt considering it has been #1 versus #2 all day

Scott Bell: The "official" attendance that was announced to the crowd: 50,000 people. Double of my initial projection. Ugh. I told you I'm not good at stuff like that.
of course he does.....think about what they're comparing him to.You guys must be watching a different game than the UM fans on their scout board.
Tate looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they didn't sell tickets, correct? so that number is almost certainly from someone saying, "the stadium looks half full... 50,000 people are here" (I'm sure that exactly 50,000 people showed up ) which is flawed since people are infinitely more spread out for spring games than when they are sardined in for real games (like Jwins said)The "official" attendance that was announced to the crowd: 50,000 people.

1) The offense is better. I have little doubt that it will be better than last year- maybe even significantly so- and in a few years (if RR is still around), it will be quite good.
2) The defense is outrageously offensive. I'm not talking "bad", or "really bad", or "awful". I'm talking an embarrassment to football. The most glaring mistake I saw was simple attack angles, from every position on the defense. They still can't tackle. And they aren't even that athletic. It's simply atrocious. Like the offense, I'm sure it will improve... But I can't see any way we don't put up at least 42 again on them this year.
