Don't feel like answering the question? That's cool, good luck with him.

Tressel didn't offer Gardner because he is a project and the staff would like a more polished quarterback in the pipeline to replace Pryor.

I wouldn't be throwing too many stones around here about dodging questions considering you opened up the can of worms that is Rodriguez's exit from WV, have fun with that one.

I'm good, thanks. I don't care how he left as I already said. If you guys want to make a big deal out of it, more power to ya. Have at it.

(being completely serious here) Isn't TP a project? I mean, sure he can get away with a little more because he's so big and athletic, but his arm could be a liability, no?

so you trust the guy until he proves otherwise, but anything untrustworthy that he does you aren't concerned about... interesting

Never said UM didn't. But thanks for talking for them. I don't have deeper issues than that by the way, thanks for your concern.
He wasn't talking directly to you. Pretty new to this message board stuff?

I'm not saying those guys will have osu offers, but it's still very early. I mean, JT didn't even offer Gardner... what's that about? Oh, I know, the next coming of Joe Montana is coming to play for osu.
Yes, yes. JT must be crazy for not offering savior #3. :roll1: That is a good question, though. Why didn't JT offer a kid that was pretty much a sure commit?

No sir I DO NOT. I honor my agreements. I change jobs but I honor my agreements.

Speak for yourself, but as for me that statement simply will not stand.
Amen.

Talk about it. I know.
Clearly you do. Nice sneaky edit.

I could care less about WVU. RR left them for a better job with higher pay. You and everyone else on this board do the same thing with your jobs. And lets not pretend RR is the first coach to get out of a contract to go to another school.
It's "I couldn't care less". Pet peeve. The issue isn't about him leaving for more money. Happens every year. It's the way he handled himself in the process. Lying about meeting with scUM officials under the guise of meeting his "accountant". Using a wvu cell phone to call Terrelle Pryor before informing his own players he was leaving (pure sleaze), trying (and failing miserably) to break his signed contract. Dragging racism into the whole matter. If you haven't heard any of this stuff, look it up, it's all out there in print and it's not my job to educate you about the "man" that's leading your program. Like you said before your edit...good luck with him.

No, his arm isn't a liability. His mechanics are, and that's a pretty good reason why they're concerned about having to start Gardner in 2011.

Gardner does not run like Pryor, so there goes the core of your comparison. He has similarities in his style, size, delivery but the speed is not comparable. Besides, OSU didn't want to have 1 qb on roster for 2009, they just didn't pan out. Taking a project in 2007 would not have made sense, nor does taking one in 2010. This is all well documented in Gardner's thread.

UM has the luxury of two other QBs on roster to run his offense. OSU does not.

What has he done untrustworthy since he got to UM? Again, I don't care about how he got there, that stuff happens in college football.

I wouldn't necessarily classify it as untrustworthy, but the fact that seemingly half of your team transfered after he got there (including your best young lineman to your arch rival) has to raise some red flags

Honestly, that's your answer? The reason he can get away with bad mechanics is because of his legs. His receivers are SO wide open, floating ducks become completions.

So are you one of those scUM fans that didn't want Pryor the moment he committed to tOSU? Sure seems like it. You're digging quite a hole for yourself. Is this Sniper?
