2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

My goodness. You talk about a team in disarray.

They have a shitty offensive system. By shitty I mean, what kid with NFL aspirations is going to want to go and play in that system? That translates into second rate offensive talent going to UM.

They are running kids off left and right.

They have NO QB to speak of at this point. If Nick Sheridan starts that first game it's a loss, no doubt about it.

Next season they will make up for having a terrible offense with having a grease fire for a defense (oh, except for Big Will Campbell).

They are going backwards. How can UM fans ignore this???

Florida doesn't have a NFL system yet they still get great recruits on offense for whatever reason. Like you said Michigan has 2nd rate talent coming to Ann Arbor. If you don't have top players.....there has to be a way to maximize their talents.

I'm sick of the "I only want players who want to be here" line.....from every school.

I don't want to date the pretty girls, I want to date the girls that want to date me.
I don't want the high paying job, I want the company that wants to hire me.

shut up already.

That is true to a certain degree, but do you seriously want a guy that is homesick or just isn't there mentally? "Most" kids want to get on the field. If they aren't good enough then do you want them around complaining about playing time or create disruptions because of the lack of playing time?

I wish Threet good luck in finding a school.

when it's said about every single person that doesn't end up picking {enter school here}, it's just sour grapes from idiot fanbases. OSU fans included.

I agree 100 %. It ticked me off when some Michigan fans said some harsh things about Mallett and a few other transfers over the past year. They had to do what was best for them.

At what point do you start asking why so many guys get homesick or aren't good enough or why so many recruits don't want to compete?

tOSU has issued 15 2010 offers thus far, DickRod (per the Beav) has issued 43 and are "close" to offering another 15 or so. Did he toss around offers like this when he was at wvu?

DickRod and his recruiting crew prepare for another recruiting road trip:

I count seventeen, but you do bring up a good point. How many offers did he make when he was at WV?
