2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

I don't really think that anyone on thsi site would want anything to happen to ANY player (meatchicken or not) nor their family......sorry for his loss, and here's hoping that brother Brock will be able to navigate soon.

Interesting article on another site, that RR getting Hagenhut over Tress was "RR's FIRST victory over Tress & OSU" and that it is the start of many more.....kinda chuckled at that one, given how poorly they've played against OSU, however, eventually they will fill up their class with good athletes (hey, sit on the pine for OSU, or play for Michigan?) and will be competitive. Just like we were once when 2-10-1 was coach (hey sit on the pine for Michigan or play for OSU?), and so we got better....

Any thoughts from the Buckeye Nation on that thought. I quickly want to remind others that it's not MY thought, but from another site (actually a newsperson reported on a site)......

Go Bucks Go Bucks Go Bucks.......

:gobucks3::osu4::banger: And SCum Still :scum4:

I'm not going to lie, the thought of a car containing Charles Woodson, Marcus Ray, Desmond Howard and John Kolesar going off a cliff doesn't make me sad in the least.....unless its my car, then I'm conflicted.

I thought the DB they got this year, the one who didn't graduate HS I forget the name, was his first of many victories?

As to the theory espoused by the scUM writer, so lets say RR gets better athletes in. Now what? Does OSU all of a sudden stop getting athletes? Its just like the Barwis bullshit. Ok, your S&C went from shitty to good, guess what, OSU's was good all along. All you did was catch up.

The best RR is ever going to do is get on roughly the same level talent wise and then it comes down to coaching. I may bust our coaches balls about the offense but there is zero doubt in my mind who wins a game between the 2 staffs with roughly equal talent 80% of the time. Zero fucking doubt.

Here's one thing that still is a little surprising to me. Given RBs apparent ability to rack up numbers in Dick's system, why aren't they more of a player for blue-chippers at that position? I can see elite OL shying away, even WRs...but you'd think RBs would be much more interested. I know they've whiffed on at least a handful the past couple years. I believe they lose both Minor and Brown after this year. Shaw is a pretty good back, but I haven't seen much to indicate he's capable of carrying the load. They landed a big back from texas, but not many people outside of um circles are wowed by him either. Cox may be Minor-like, if not quite as talented. After that they have smurfs like Drake, V. Smith, etc...

He's done quite well recruiting Qbs and surprisingly decent at WR, but hasn't made much noise at RB. Then of course there's the defensive issues. They lose Graham after this year. The depth issues on the DL aren't really being addressed with sufficient talent for the Big 10, nor is LB. As bad as their D has been the past two years, it could be even worse next year. They're getting better on offense, but going seemingly backward on defense.

I'm sorry guys, but I'm appalled at you guys discussing having a carload of those 5 TSUN'ers going off a cliff.

When there's room for Dan Dierdorf in the trunk.

Who says it has to be a car? They can go off a cliff in an SUV just as easy, those fuckers hold 8.

My top 8 scUM alum's I would want to see in an SUV heading off a cliff:

Woodson
Ray
Howard
Kolesar
Manbitch
Dierdorf
Harbaugh (guarantee in '86)
Darden (time to face justice for what was clearly PI in '71)

I'll let ass hats like Franklin and Mike Hart live because they got theirs on the field. The Fab 5 got theirs in a different way. The 8 pole smokers listed above have always needed to face the music in my little world.

P.S. If it were an extremely large SUV and I could fit 9, Biatchabatuka sleeps with the fishes.

P.S.S. Come to think of it a 12 passenger van can go off a cliff just as easy as a car or SUV, maybe even easier.

Michigan has yet to land a true defensive tackle this year and that worries me a little bit. They aren't picking up any linebackers and it seems the top guys in the country are looking else where.

Michigan's offense should take off in the next two years but the defense just doesn't seem to be there.

The good news is that Ohio and Michigan are going to have a lot of good players in the class of 11. Maybe Michigan can go to Ohio and convince a few to come up north and lock up the good ones out of Michigan.
