Just how many OL has RR put into the NFL in all his career to even attempt to jump on the previous history of Michigan?

They have the 20th ranked class according to scout and could be worse especially if they have decommits. I don't take rankings that seriously but IMO this is telling of this years recruiting for Michigan. 2010 could be another rough year for them.

Per Scout:
OSU offered three RBs
We landed our top two prospects
UM offered 9 RBs
They landed 7, 8 and 9
(we got their 2nd and 5th)
OSU also offered two FBs and got them both.
UM did not offer any FBs
OSU offered 7 WRs
We landed 2, 6 and 7 with #1 still on the board.
UM offered 19 WRs
They landed 10 and 14 with Stokes (their #4) still on the board
We got their #8
OSU offered 4 OTs
We landed 2, 3 and 4
UM offered 10 OTs
They landed 5 and 6
We got their #1
OSU offered 2 safeties
We got #1.
#2 was Emilien. We can debate what happened there.
UM offered 12 Safeties
They landed 6, 8, 9 and 12
OSU offered 8 CBs
We landed 3, 5, 7 and 8
UM beat us out for our #1
UM offered 11 CBs
Turner is all they have so far.
At the three LB positions OSU extended 6 offers and got 4 commits.
UM made 8 offers and is sitting on one commit - their #3 offer at WLB.
OSU has landed 4 of their 9 DL offers.
UM has gotten 5 of 16 DL and two of those are listed as "soft verbals"
It is like this at almost every position. OSUs offer list is short, focused and successful. UMs list is long and wanting in commits.
Also consider that our depth chart is crowded. UM has tons of PT to offer and had an extra month to recruit while they were sitting out the bowl game.
We landed players early in the process and have been virtually devoid of decommits. UMs efforts to retain committed players have been almost laughable.
UM has 11 commits from players rated #42 or below at their position. OSU has 6 such players - in the past TWO classes combined.
Spin that Beaver.

Not according to Allen Wallace of SuperPrep:zwem;1398150; said:OSU usually gets better classes than UM anyways.
Ohio State's average class ranks 10.4 on the SuperPrep scale.Michigan stands out as a school that always recruits well. From the mid-1990's, the Wolverines have signed only one class not ranked in the top 10 by SuperPrep magazine. That was in 2000, when Lloyd Carr signed a No. 13 group. Notwithstanding that class, since 1995 the folks in Ann Arbor have reeled in signing efforts ranked exactly at 6.6 according to SuperPrep. For consistency and downright excellence, that's really tough to beat. In fact, nobody beats it.
