osu's weak 03 class was decimated by attrition. The majority of that class washed out, whether on the field or off of it. Their 04 class did not pan out well either.blueinfla;1489792; said:

Attrition is part of the game.
What I can't figure out is how um couldn't find a walkon to throw the football in practice. Sheridan is awful, cone is brutal, threet had no accuracy whatsoever. It seems like somewhere in the large state of Michigan they could find someone to execute simple bubble screens, swing passes and 5 yard bootleg passes.
Osu found an excellent guy for this in Siems. He can't handle the pressure and responsibilities of a live game, but he throws a very nice ball in practice situations. With only two qbs on scholarship, he was a big asset. Ross Oltorik as well.

Thats been commonly accepted up there for a while now and not a big loss at all really. If it was a DT or real LB prospect they felt good about , "ouch" might qualify.

Certainly a lot of information going out there. GBW reported one morning that UM dropped him, then that afternoon another writer reported the opposite.

Yeah, this whole recruiting season has been very weird. The way it's going, the final 8 months will surely drive some people bonkers.

MD has offered 3-star Gateway HS WR Brendon Felder (5'10 160 4.37). UM has not offered, but Felder thinks they might.

MD RB/S Josh Furman wants to visit UM this summer, nothing scheduled yet. He's been to EMU, UF, PSU camps. Being recruited as a spinner (S/LB hybrid... Stevie Brown role in 09 & Marvin Robinson's in 10).
