2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

Ah yes, an important distinction, since Rich Rod's offense means 1st and 2nd downs are key plays too.

Pretty much every play that doesn't involve Zoltan, the Space Punter.

Might be time to start up the Queen because Another One reportedly just Bit the Dust: stud class of 2008 OT Dann O'Neill apparently has had enough of the the Rod. Excuses coming out already:

"The drive to get better just is not there."

Wonder if he goes all Boren and signs up in East Lansing (being a west Michigan kid, after all). :tongue2:

And I just wandered over the mill and saw it's already there. I didn't think to check there first because this isn't a rumor (original post in the first link is confirmed by admin further down the page). My bad.

Well, according to the posters, he is lazy and likes to play video games, so no big loss to them, right?:roll1:

Wait!! I seem to remember the last OL that left the team must have been lazy and not like the Barwis!!!!!11!!!!11!!eleventy!!!!!! effect of the training. Something about it being to tough for him and that he was crap anyway. Yeah, that's it.

What a bum. The kid probably thinks he's in college or something ...

Hmm ... time for a new slogan. Something like:

Those who stay will have one-year less eligibility when they finally say, "To hell with this shit!" and transfer someplace where the coach isn't an ass.

RE: According to a rumor on someone quitting......
Another 4* lost. Why on earth would this kid want to quit playing the one game he's played his whole life? I patiently await the answer.

Dann was most likely going to be a career backup here, too many people have already passed him on the depth chart. Dann has alot of other interests besides football and I wish him well.

Can you give us a list of the other redshirt freshman and sophomores that are going to be career backups?

What I stated isnt an opinion its infromation from people close to the program. Dann was behind in terms of work ethic and overall toughness, he doesnt have alot of push off the ball right now. He could have developed, but others are ahead of him and working harder. I have had the chance to meet Dann a couple of times hes a really nice kid and I hope everything works out for him.

I understand that. I'm just wondering what other redshirt freshmen and sophomores are destined to be career backups.
