2009 TSUN News (football only discussion)

S&M response
Kind of makes me sick. This would be the first game in renovated Michigan Stadium.
Bill Martin only cares about the $$$$$$$$$$!
Getting a real opponent would require that we reciprocate by playing at their home stadium in the future. He can't give up that kind of revenue!
loving the headline. this damn ND series is going to wreck us scheduling like that for a long time.
Why? MSU plays ND too.
I hate it hate it hate it!!! Lets play some real teams. Win or lose atleast we can challenge ourselves. Play your 2 cup cake non-conf. games, but also make 2 good non-conf. games. And when I say cup cake I still mean make them D1 schools. Play the MAC, WAC, or something.
And when they lose one of those two games....or both from "overschedulling" we'll see how happy their fanbase is..

Michigan tried that...and routinely lost to either ND or the other team..

No...you schedule one "big game" and that's it IMHO...being locked up with ND pretty much screws up for other marquee matchups..

Honestly, I feel the same way for osu. Say osu loses to USC this year but goes undefeated the rest of the season. Had osu played William and Mary instead and gotten a win, they'd be playing for the title. Wouldn't you be pissed that you missed your chance to play for the title because of one game???

That schedule is weak for teams like Ohio State. UM isn't winning their "easy" games right now so no UM schedule can be called weak. It could actually turn out to be a pretty competitive schedule for them.

Don't think I haven't noticed you using lower case letters for tOSU and caps for every other college. Cute.

C.J Olaniyan is narrowing his list tomorrow and many expect UM to be at the top of the list for him. Nice DE prospect who could end up a LB in college. Ht: 6-foot-5
Wt: 230 lbs

Decent offer sheet for him:
Iowa
Kentucky
Miami (Fl)
Michigan
Michigan State
Penn State

2010 is the last year we will be scheduling easy opponents, rumors going around about home and homes with several top BCS programs starting in 2011.
I'd be surprised to see that. Not that UM has played a bunch of scrubs every year. Utah last year. Oregon the year before. It's not UMs fault ND has been down for many years. They look to be much better this year though.
